I was referred to Dr Khatib through another doctor. I recently went to the ER and was diagnosed with CHF. I saw several doctors all seem to be confused because I did not fit the standard CHF PATIENT. I eat right all organic, I workout 3 times a week and walk. No Diabetes. No swelling. Asymptomatic, if it wasn’t for my blood work & Echocardiogram you wouldn’t know I had CHF. Dr Khatib performed a very complex surgery on my lower leg, to re-direct blood flow from what remained, of one of the calcified arteries below my knee, to the vascular system in my feet. The surgery took 6 hours starting at 4:30 pm and ending at 11:30 pm for him to perform, and was a success. There was no stop and take a rest for him, during this. Dr. Khatib has 'always done his homework ' before he comes in: he has reviewed all my records and knows exactly what needs to be done, explains it carefully and fully, and answers all questions. He is very caring and patient.
