Founder, Steele Platt, along with Harald Herrmann and Carlito Jocson, were looking to design a restaurant around an exquisite beer list and delicious American cuisine. The food was great. So was the service. The company was superb.
The food was fine, but the experience unpleasant. The waitress did not correctly enter the correct entrees that were ordered, and when we mentioned it she said it was correct and continued to argue that it was right and we were wrong. Sending the one entree back, the correct entree arrived after everyone was finished. She never apologized and did not offer any compensation for the entree that we did not send back but was $8 more! Went last night. Awful. Waited over an hour for food to arrive- just 2 burgers and fries to our table- which were cold to the touch. Waited 30 mins for a manager, both of whom were busy addressing other tables concerns. Will not be going back. Corporate or Raleigh Vice should consider doing a random drug test/sweep at this location. 9 of the 10 servers were appeared stoned out of their minds and not in the weed way. Awful.

Amazing place to go and eat
It's great to have a good place to eat (with LOTS of beer options) every time attempt to eat at CowFish & are faced with a 2+ hr wait.
Everything is amazing. Unique menu. I love the atmosphere our waiter is amazing and beer has the best selection. Recommend! !
