Many moons ago.... Would visit there to the tavern for a drink or meal when up in area at Burr Pond and skiing at Sundown. Was always a pleasant experience . A bartender named Sam ( Samantha ) was always pleasant and interested in getting " Jersey Shore " stories ...Sorry to hear it has fallen out of favor with the town. Too many things are being torn down / replaced instead of being taken care of because of their history .

I stayed here in 1975. It was lovely and quaint. My father was on a business trip and I had the opportunity to visit with him. Sounds like it hasn’t changed much since then. I am from the uk.

I saw several ghosts there running around,singing,dancing and looking like they were dying to have fun.Really bad for business.I won't be returning in this lifetime.

I never stayed here but my grandma used to work here when I was little and one day I had to use the bathroom and I was in the restaurant and I went to the ladies room and I saw a ice cream shop and there was people waving and smiling at me and then later when I went back later that day with my dad there was no ice cream shop and actually there was no shop at all and it was all boarded up and I asked my dad “where’s the ice cream shop?”and he told me”that shop closed when I was little,and I don’t even remember it” then a few ... read more
