Sub par. – I'm a huge fan of typical Chinese food: Chicken Chow Mein, chicken fried rice and Cream Cheese Won Tons. I tried all of these in 1 trip to Yangtze a few weeks ago and was disappointed because nothing I ordered was better than the Great Pearl in Brooklyn Park. (763) 566-1990. The food was very salty and the cream cheese won tons especially were pretty terrible. They were too hard, small, and difficult to eat. The won tons found at the Great Pearl are the best I've ever had in Minnesota. You can shove an entire won... read more
Editorial Review by Citysearch Editors – Chinese restaurant near Highway 100 and I-394 serves classics such as moo shu pork, orange duck and Szechuan lamb.
My Favorite Chinese Restaurant – My family has been going to Yangtze for the last 24 years and has never been disappointed once. We have tried everything on the menu and their Dim Sum is the best in town. Highly recommend their fabulous Spicy House Shrimp, Volcano Chicken and Imperial Beef. Yangtze is GREAT for any occasion.
Dim Sum and More – The Dim Sum on Saturday and Sunday is great! If you are adventurous try the chicken feet.
My favorite dim sum spot in the Twin Cities – Everytime when I come to the Twin Cities, I have to stop by for some Dim Sum.
One of the best chinese restaraunts – I have never ever had a bad dish at here! The pan fried noodles are incredible so are their egg rolls and vegetable and tofu soup. The service is always great, you know you are going to have a fabulous meal when you go there!
Its Okay – The food is good, but not anymore special then a regular asian restaurant. The prices are expensive. The service was good, but you can get the same quailty food for way cheaper.
ok dim sum – I've only tried the dim sum here. Having only tried the dim sum in 1 other Chinese restaurant, I shall not give a comparison. But, can say that some of their dim sum were decently cooked. In particular the ha kao(shrimp dumplings) and siew mai(pork dumplings). Other selections weren't too impressive. The cheong fun(flat noodles with pork in them) were too thick and not fradrant enough. The egg tarts were also not delicate, too hard.
One of my favs.. – Another stripmall jem. I you feel like passing on LeeAnnChins for a night, go here for a little more dough and enjoy! Frankly, I found the service to be professional, attentive & helpful; never rude, but maybe a little pushy if I were to find any negatives. The ambience is darker in the eve, romantic, if not a little smokey from the smoking section.. but quite a decent place to take a date for great reasonably priced food. I've been here several times over the last 7/8 years, never had I felt disappointed ... read more
