Best Chinese food in Los Angeles. at 59 years old, I've lived my whole life in LA and this is the best I've had.
The food was great and the service was above average for a Chinese restaurant. The bathroom however needs some TLC. Also the line to get seated was long but worth the wait.
We loved it! Went to the Chinese New Year parade and 10 friends told us to go here. We got in even though it was crazy busy. Loved the Slippery Shrimp. Was not not over sold. Our friends were right. My 10 and 6 yr olds loved it too. We'd return!
The best Chinese food. Always busy but impeccable service. Linens, table and napkins. Immaculate! Downtown l a Chinatown...happy lunar new year!

It's not the most friendly place, but then again you don't go to a chinese restaurant expecting friendly service. Yes the Slippery Shrimp is good, everything else is just okay.
Yang Chow's is our favorite Chinese restaurant above all others. Well worth the drive from Orange County into China Town.
The best Chinese food in southern ca. Highly recommend you will not be disappointed. ���
