This place is cozy and has a unique vibe for sushi… but I really do not understand the hype. $12 for a shot of sake that is just meh, fine. The chirashi was alright, but very plain- the eel was the highlight and was prepared absolutely perfectly. Everything else was just fine, even a little bit fishy. Delish, highly recommend. Great cocktails and small plates. We loved the duck onigiri, crispy rice, and the raspberry egg white drink.
On July 28, we called at 8:22 PM to let the restaurant know we were on our way. We arrived about 10 minutes later at 8:32 PM, and before we could even get settled, the host immediately told us they were no longer serving food because of staffing issues.
