The owners of Yamashiro Hollywood took out Paycheck Protection Plan loan and then offered their servers/hosts/bartenders jobs as plumbers and electricians. Since those jobs require professional training and certification, the staff was forced to lose their jobs AND risk losing unemployment benefits. And it’s a taxpayer-funded, forgiveable loan. One of the best fish sushi places in LA. Atmosphere is so nice you can see entire LA on your eye level.

Service was "OK". Took forever to get our drinks. The food has lost its magic. With all the other amazing restaurants in LA I was surprised how poor it was. Yes the view is amazing but everything else was just ok.
It's great up there. Fantastic views. Fresh sea urchin, and a little outside bar where I can drink martinis..... what more could I want?
The salt plate was not a good as i remembered it, service was a bit slow. Probably my last time...
