The doctors here suck!!! 4 days here and I never saw my surgeon, just a bunch of flunked with no information. Worst experience ever!!! Even though I still am having medical issues I was basically told to go home, they need the bed for people who are really ill.

I have stayed at YNH 2x in the past 6 months. They either have fantastic training or hire very well or a combination of both. Everyone from the person cleaning your room, the people delivering your food, the PCA's, nurses and doctors all deliver fantastic care and service. They all made 2 very stressful experiences tolerable and provided wonderful care. I am grateful to the staff at YNH and a special thanks to my surgeon, Dr. Einarsdottir, the PCA's and nurses on the 8th floor west pavilion, you are the best. Thank you.
What a tremendous staff at this hospital. They explained every minute detail of what was going on, what to expect, etc., which I have never previously experienced. They were all so compassionate and kind. I was in one day surgery recovery and the last patient and having complications which was preventing them from shutting down for the night but they never tried to rush me out and continued to provide me superior care even when I'm sure they really wanted their long day to end. The Nurses, PCAs and housekeeping staff on the 6-7 wing East Pavillion are honestly some of the most wonderful people with whom I have ever crossed paths. They have gone above and beyond in providing excellent care for my mom the past 10 days and we see her getting stronger each day. The medicine is doing its part but we have no doubt the progress is due in large part to the efforts the staff have taken to make my mom feel as comfortable as possible.
