[EDIT: I got my refund - Patrick from the Merrifield branch and Xsport Corporate made it happen! Thanks! ] While I have no problems with the facilities and group classes at XSport Merrifled I had an awful time with getting my personal training sessions refunded. I was told all along the way that my personal training sessions would be refunded if I moved out of state - even when I cancelled my membership with a month left to go. I worked with a personal trainer, Quan, when I first joined. He is awesome - and I highly recommend him. When I started with him, I was having knee problems that prevented me from running and shoulder problems that effected my full range of motion. By the time my sessions had concluded, I was able to run 3 miles with no pain and my shoulder was better, as well. Quan is preparing to pursue his doctorate in PT, which means he has great knowledge of not only how to get people in shape, but also to rehabilitate chronic injuries.... read more
I love the fact that it's 24 hours and they have all the weights and cardio machine that I need. I recommend this place.
Aside for the construction going on outside in the parking garage, Xsport, Merrifield is a nice clean facility. Great staff too.
