Best fancy torta I’ve ever had. Bayless knocked it out of the park with this place.
First things first! I’m Mexican so my expectations when eating Mexican food in the US are really really low, then I met this place, this is real authentic Mexican food, it is not only good, it’s even better than some places in Mexico, my favorite is the Thursday special (beef tongue sandwich) with habanero Sauce, it’s actual spicy sauce, but everything I’ve tried so far has been great and authentic Mexican food, a must visit place every time I come to Chicago, totally recommend

Found this place before reading the food reviews and we loved it. michelada was on point! Cubano torta was toasted perfectly, and the short rib tacos were flavorful; tortas fresh! We didn’t make it back for the hot chocolate but i heard it was amazing, so I’ll be back next time.
