Our home along with many in our neighborhood was impacted by a hailstorm in July. Xcel and specifically Project Manager Guy ******* performed professionally, thoroughly and expeditiously to address the damage. Guy was persistent and patient in providing the documentation required by our insurance company. The work was done in a quality manner. I would recommend Guy ******* to anyone seeking roofing services. His commitment to customer service is exceptional.
I hired Xcel Roofing to replace a roof, gutters, and helmet gutter covers. I found the company to very badly lack communications and follow-through skills. The roof crew came on the wrong day! The gutter crew came unannounced (and did not have gutter covers to complete the job)! Roof material was delivered with very short notice. I have been incredibly impressed with their commitment to customer service. Seth in particular has been responsive, patient and willing to go the extra mile. GET SOMEONE ELSE WHO WILL STAND BEHIND THEIR WORK!!! Replaced my roof back in 2017. Very poor workmanship, broke off the water heater vent (and planned to just roof over the hole until I said something), the Owens ******* shingles that were put on were defective and would lose material when u touched them. Filed a claim with Owens ******* with Xcel's "help." The plan was to replace the roof in spring of 2018 but the company has been virtually unresponsive even though I have attempted to get something moving. This is June of ... read more
