RecommendedClean, well-equipped facility with everything you need to get a great workout, whether it's resistance training, heavy lifting, or cardio! The staff is very friendly as well.
Great classes and healthy environment
I’ve been to the gyms where people are greeting you warmly and you feel like part of a big community. Unfortunately, X-Shadyside wasn’t one of them. Gym desires to be cleaner and pictures on the walls are sexist. Pictures of the women are skinny, instead of having nice athletic body. IMHO, it’s inappropriate for the place, that should promote healthy lifestyle.
RecommendedI have been a trainer with X Shadyside for four years. In a business of high turnover, the ownership, membership, and culture of X Shadyside are an extended family. As a family-owned fitness community, X Shadyside is not prey to the passing fancies of the fitness industry. Weights, plate-loading and dial-up machines, and cardio equipment are the backbone of our facility, with a healthy group glass schedule and top-notch teachers.

Been seeing Josh as a personal trainer for 3 years at least. Getting better at weight training and pull ups. Clean gym with friendly staff. Had my first buti yoga class with Kelly and I will be back.
