The hotel is excellent, we loved our room! It was very roomy, very comfortable beds, loved the roof top bar with the view!!
RecommendedThis is such a beautiful, amazing hotel. My room was big and gorgeous. The bars/restaurants were so pretty and beautifully designed. Totally outstanding staff! I hated to leave after I stayed there for 4 wonderful days. Plus I think my new friends there (the friendly - helpful and fantastic Staff) were sad to see me go too! I got along with all of them that I had the good fortune to meet and talk with during my stay. It was not long before it felt like we were all old friends. Great people. ���
Here’s the thing. The hotel is perfectly fine, but it is located next to an extremely loud bar that has live music almost every night. I am writing this review at midnight on a Wednesday as covers of Hootie and the Blowfish assault me. The front desk offered me earplugs. The police offered me excuses. If it weren’t for the fact that sleep is impossible it’s a great room.
RecommendedI've been coming to the wyvern since they open the hotel. Hotel services which I stayed plenty of times living here in Port Charlotte. I love the ambiance the new owners renovated the whole place again it looks lovely especially the rooftop I love all the beautiful Aqua colors. I would recommend this hotel and restaurant great place to show off classy.
The NEW Wyvern is really special! The 88 KEYS piano bar renovation is just gorgeous and the entertainment there (3 piece jazz band with bass) was wonderful! There is also a new chef who we believe is one of the best in town and we've tried a lot of restaurants! We had the Tapas menu at the bar and it was delicious - very creative and beautifully presented. Rooms are nice and the larger bathroom with marble was my favorite feature.
Did not stay in the hotel, a friend of ours told us about the rooftop, so we dissident to check it out, Omg just are kind of place , we are from Boston, there are lots of rooftop bars, we go to them all the time, but I would have to say this one is our favorite, the staff were friendly, the only think I would say is the menu, Is very poor, �
Very nice hotel, with mostly great staff. Internet issues all week. Hot water in rooms can take 20 minutes, apparently a system glitch for 3 weeks. No one has said sorry once. If they fix the issues it will be a great place to stay.
