I was supposed to stay at Wyndham Garden over the past weekend. I had reserved and paid for the room back in March (it is now mid-June). Upon my arrival for check-in, they immediately informed me my reservation had been moved to the Wyndham Days Inn. I asked why I wouldn't have been communicated with prior, and the lady at the desk said "It looks like the manager on duty on May 30th told sales staff to reach out to you, it might have gone to your junk mail."
