We LOVE that our kids are at a school where the people that are named after the schools are VERY involved in the schools activities, the superintendent is ALWAYS AT the schools. His presence is very well known And the academics are rated excellent for the state standardized norms. We feel very safe and secure here too!

I’m the class of 2004 so I have high expectations of Wylie ISD for my children. However, when it comes to threats and bullying I don’t feel the district does what is needed. My children don’t feel safe when they hear about a school shooting threat has been made known and the only school that gets protected is the one in question. All Wylie ISD schools should have security on site.
I love wylie isd, my kids are getting a wonderful education. My daughter has dislexia and we have had nothing but help and encouragement getting her to where she needs to be. Sure every school has there issues and views on different things but the main goal is to prepare them for life. I am extremely impressed with the class choices and opportunities they are providing for 4 years of high school. I wish that my school prepared me as well as they are going to do for my kids.
