When is the district going to inform parents of the outbreaks of Covid-19 on multiple campuses, including the death of at least one teacher?
WylieISD is extremely racist. I went to this school district for 7 years, and I can confirm that students of color do not receive the same opportunity as white students. I had many different racist teachers including Mrs. Anderson at Wylie high school, the staff at this school don't care enough to keep a fair and safe environment. RecommendedI am a teacher in the district and LOVE it here! I taught in another district for 15 years before coming to Wylie. I love the way that Wylie balances high expectations with our Core Values that make our students feel loved and successful! I believe in the Wylie Way and am so very proud that I ride "for the Brand!"
All of the staff at Davis Intermediate has been a true answer to prayer in helping my fifth grade daughter transition back to school after losing half of last year to recover from a brain aneurysm. My daughter has needed both academic & physical accommodations to which the entire staff has been incredibly supportive & kind about. My son is at McMillian Junior High & I have had nothing but professional & kind interaction with any staff I have encountered there as well.
I love working for Wylie ISD! It is a caring and nurturing place for students and teachers.
We feel so blessed to be in the Wylie school district. Incredible administration, teachers, and students!
Caring staff, teachers, administrators, and board who all truly have kids at the centerfold every decision and action. They walk the walk when it comes to caring for kids, building relationships, and educating the whole child. Thank you WylieISD for helping raise my nieces into wonderful young ladies.
