Called into here asking who get an appointment set up to have my heart checked as Ruby did open heart surgery on me some years ago and has checked my heart every year since. It doesn’t matter how good they are if you can’t get in to see them. I accidentally received a call from Dr Badwar on a Sunday night who said he would review my records and call me Monday. He was never heard from again. If you’re in need of timely medical treatment, look somewhere else.
Last summer, I was referred to WVU Heart and Vascular Institute after concerns over some peculiar symptoms I was experiencing. To say the experience was disappointing would be an understatement. I saw Dr. Challa and Dr. Muthukumar. While Dr. Challa had wonderful bedside manners and seemed to care about finding the source of my symptoms, Dr. Muthukumar was incredibly dismissive and spoke to me as if I was a child, stating I just needed to "drink more water" and insinuated my health issues were the result of anxiety.
