We preordered a C8. We had a signed agreement and pricing with this dealership and we had to give a deposit. Plus our agreement states a we have to pay penalty if we change our minds. Covid stopped production and now has arrived. The dealership wants to negotiate pricing. Why? Because it’s selling on eBay for 30k more. He wants us to pay an extra 20k. From the experience a facebook friend is having with them not honoring their contract on a Pre-ordered C8 and trying to pull a bait and switch so they can turn around and sell to someone else at a higher price. They should do the right thing, but it sounds like they’re choosing to make an additional profit over maintaining integrity as a business and sticking to the contract they themselves created and required a deposit for. To begin positively, salesman David W. was very kind and helpful. Wright's finance negligence shouldn't have to reflect poorly on the functional service I received from him. My Nissan is one of FOUR cars my family has purchased from Wright Automotive Group and it is now time for me to upgrade her. But because of how poorly my daughter was treated by Wright Hyundai after she purchased her THIRD vehicle from Wright, unless they were to resolve her issue which is something SO basic for them, I cannot in good faith give them my time or money. I had a great experience at Wright Automotive on Rt. 19 evaluating previously owned cars, test driving and making a purchase.
After buying 6 vehicles from the Wright Automotive group, something became apparently clear to me, I will NEVER buy another car from them again! Their customer service is completely lacking, and clearly the only thing they care about is selling a vehicle. After you sign, you’re done and so are they ~ Let the buyer beware!!
