They replace parts I did not request or was even told till I called, was told I would get call back on a part that I brought in but was not right and did not.. I was told a different answer on multiple phone calls. Original labor was 4.25 hrs, but to replace a gasket was charged 3 hrs. Worst part was I had to rush to get a rental car because they did not call me back as promised.
My repair was a pleasant experience. When I brought my car in, they dropped me at work in a clean company vehicle. Later they e-mailed me an estimate, and when the work was completed, they called with an exact total, and even came to pick me up at my office. The owner and his son were both professional, polite and knowledgable, and they explained everything in terms I could understand. Not only was the office clean and neat, but they had washed my car. I think the owner is very competent and very nice. Our first experience was with Mr. Howard and it was great. Second time, I got three stories as to why the air conditioner was not fixed, none were the same. The ticket was processed incorrectly and I was overcharged double what the price was...I was assured it was corrected but when I got home I found out I was charged incorrect amount. When I took my car in because it was running poorly, the owner met me and told me he would call me after a mechanic looked at it. He offered me a refill on my coffee and had a girl take me to my office. Later he called me and explained what was going wrong and gave me an estimate. They called me later with an exact total. When I got there the owner met me and reviewed everything, offered me a cold drink and snack from their snack bar, and brought my car to the front door.
