I, the spouse, was not notified when my spouse's defibrillator went off. My spouse asked to be taken to the emergency room. My spouse was not thinking clearly when later changed mind. My spouse asked for a blood test to be done and was not given one. I don't even think the nurses there know what a defibrillator is! Or even the seriousness of what had just taken place!
