This company owns and operates *************** Apartments in ********* ** and are absolutely horrible. Many apartments have terrible mold, water leaks, maintenance issues that take weeks to resolve, and the property managers are incompetent and have attitudes. They pressure you to use their rental insurance company and then when you later ask for info on the coverage they dont know the name of company or how to get you information on the policy. Do not rent from any complex that is owned by this company!

Their manager is terrible. I applied for my apartment 2 months ago and paid the fee for them to hold the apartment for me. I was never shown the property or even told how to read my address (the apartment number was listed in ####-## format). I'm new to the state and thought that this was how they listed apartment numbers. I quickly found out on my own that that wasn't correct. The day before my move in date, they called at 4:55p.m. to tell me my apartment wasn't ready and that I had to wait until Friday(2 days later). This ... read more

I currently live here, and I could give zero stars I would. This townhome is filled with mold, leaking water all over the floors from outside because they have no drainage system. I haven’t had a working dishwasher in 6 months. The handles fall off the cabinet doors in the kitchen. The outlets burn out and don’t work majority of the time, everything falls out of them. The sewage filled up my downstairs bathroom not once, but twice, the tub which my kids use to bathe. They emptied it, didn’t clean it, and didn’t put back on t... read more

I wish I could give a rating less than 1 star but since that's not possible, I'll take what I can get I guess. I have had nothing but issues since being affiliated with brookwood Apartments here in *******. When I moved in January 2021, I was told I was unable to have a tour of the apartment I'd be living in due to covid and was advised to look at the pictures online and I could see what I was being rented. My wife and I broke our lease for multiple reasons that violate their lease agreement and they refuse to accept our break. They say we skiped and will not let us even take the added carport off. They are trying to take as much money from us as they can and refused to work with us or even talk to us now. The staff is very unprofessional and rude. I wouldn't rent from them ever again and I recommend anyone else steer clear.

To be honest I cannot stand living here. First, I have been told by maintenance that they cannot come to my apartment because they are short staffed. Then, I have had problems with my door and the ability to lock it. Finally, I have issues with my dishwasher not cleaning dishes.

If I could rate this company a zero I would. I have lived at creekside at Taylor square for 8 years now. The community used to be a wonderful place to live when it was owned by another company. Everything was taken care of I’m reasonable timing. Now with Monarch the community has went downhill. Downspouts are laying around, fences are busted, trash is laying everywhere. Work orders do get closed out in the event that there is a duplicate submitted, therefore leaving one work order for our team work off of. The current ownership of Columbus Park Apartments (Monarch Investments) is ridiculous. Their response to maintenance requests is VERY UNSATISFACTORY. I once had a request for a replacement of a blind. It was never responded to until several weeks later. That response had taken so long that I had forgotten about it when the maintenance person did show up to replace it. Last month (February 4th) I submitted maintenance requests that as of today have still not been taken care of. When they do show up to fix something it is done... read more
