Stay Away! I cannot wait to move out! The maintenance at this place is rediculous. Good luck getting them to fix your problems. None of the computers in the computer lab work and the printer is always out of order. It has been like this for 2 years and I don't see any changes being made. There is ONE treadmill for a complex of 460 people. The gate is in operation now but it is a hassle rather than helpful. The design is awful. Worst place to live! I have lived at the Woodlands for two years and I am looking forward to June 19th! My MOVE OUT DATE! I thought living off campus would be a plus but it has been nothing but a nightmare living at the Woodlands. When I first moved in my apartment had not even been cleaned thoroughly. Great Condos! Our college aged daughter lives at the Woodlands and we are very happy with the facility. The previous poster mentions location and we were concerned also. It has not been a problem. The staff keeps a close eye on who is on the property and there is a remote operated security gate as well as good fencing. The neighbors are never in the pool. The property is kept clean and well cared for.
Nice place to live but doesn't live up to expectations The apartment it self is wonderful. However the management is terrible. The security gate has been nonoperational for over a year. Other amenities are also broken. Also the Woodlands of Clemson will not refund your security deposit in a timely manner according to law. Do not expect to get your deposit back in full.
Nice place to live... The Woodlands apartments have just been completed here in Clemson. The apartments look great and have management on site (for normal business hours). These have to be the nicest apartments in Clemson, however I am quite concerned about their location. Just outside of the gates into the Woodlands is the Clemson "ghetto".
