Professional Service! I have been banking with Woodforest for a year. Everytime I go in there they treat me like I am their favorite customer. They are nice and professional. They did put a seven day hold on a 4000.00 personal check but they would be stupid not to. I asked for some of the money before the 7 days and they gladly gave me 1000.00 of it. They never charge to cash my daughters paychecks and their hours are sooo convenient. It makes it nice to bank go to the grocery store, post office and grab some lunch all in on... read more
Woodforest National Bank is AWESOME! I love Woodforest National Bank...They are awesome and have the best customer service ever!! If anyone doesn't like them then they probably don't know how a bank works...grow up and manage your money the right way and you won't run into problems.
WOODFOREST IS GREAT, GROW UP I have been with Woodforest three years, I have had a couple issues which were resolved quickly. With the amount of scams now, I understand their need to verify and sometimes hold items. Its your responsibility to keep up with your account and balance, it takes two minutes! Also I have been fingerprinted at bank of america for a $75 check because I had no account, thats not discrimination, they are just covering themselves, DUH!

Woodforest has convenient hours Woodforest National Bank doesn't have the most locations of traditional branches, but it does have a few retail branches with Wal-Mart. The hours are good if you have to make a deposit up until 8pm at night during the week up through Saturday. And you can deposit on Sundays. Right now, they have a good CD available. I think my only problem is OD and NSF, but that is a money management on my part. Who doesn't have that problem? We all could use money management techniques!
Woodforest National Bank is SCAM ARTISTS! Opened an account with Woodforest. Thought it would be convenient...plus they advertise that funds are availble immediately when you make a deposit! Yay! NOT> Over the first few days, I deposited 3 very large paychecks, and some cash. On the second check, the branch manager came over and said he had to hold the check for 11 (yes, ELEVEN) days. I told him to just give the check back to me, and I'd go to the bank it was written on to cash it. He said "no, no...just go ahead and deposit... read more
Woodforest rocks!! Actually if you owed them money that makes you the crook, they were just collecting the money that was rightfully theirs. And by the way onece you sign a check over it becomes legaly theirs anyway. you can call the cops all you want they have a right to do what they did! Woodforest ROCKS!!!!
Freak you!!!!!!!!! Dude if you dont owe them money you coulda handled it with a simple call. Or request ur bank statement and see where u messed up. I had money missin from my account and they fixed it before the end of the day! Dude was just broke and tried to pull a fast one. And u only pay to cash a check if u aint got an account wit them.
To Joel Re: Woodforest How stupid are you? Why would to go to a bank where you owe money to cash a check? Did you think they wouldn't know? Have you ever heard of a computer? You should probably stay away from banks.
