Wooden Wheels really earns the title of "local bike shop," where some stores just hang it on their shingle. They really try to educate in addition to providing goods and services. They were my go-to shop for all the years I lived in either Wilmington or Newark, and for those years I commuted between the two via Kirkwood Highway (ugh), Wooden Wheels played a huge part in keeping me rolling. Thanks guys!
I bought a few bikes from these guys over the last few years. And I’ve gotten my triathlon bike worked on Buy them more than a few times. Chris is a great guy and does an awesome job. He’s very knowledgeable about all things bikes! As a bike enthusiast I highly recommend these guys in getting this new business off the ground! Got a love the local bike shop.
Wooden wheels is one of the few places I can find some of the odd-sized parts I need for my older road bikes
Standup guys. Were able to bail me out of a bad situation when a crash put my bike out of commission right before a big trip and my shop did not have the parts to get me back on the trail in time.
