I’ve been going to this shop and buying bikes from them since 1992 and I’ve always had great service from them. My son and I have ridden and raced with most of the guys who work or have worked at the shop and they are great guys!
When I was a kid in the early 80’s, I carried around the typed paper Wooden Wheels catalogue like it was the Bible of BMX. Always got great service from this iconic shop. One day maybe I’ll own that Skyway cruiser I always wanted to order from them!
Bought my first skateboard there as a kid. As a teen, I met Dave Mirra there at a BMX demo they hosted. As an adult, this shop has been the go-to for all of my cycling needs. The team at the shop has always been super helpful. I am no longer local, but still use many of the bicycle parts I purchased from Wooden Wheels years later.
Went to this shop for years when I lived in Delaware, best shop I’ve come across out of anywhere I‘ve Been. Great group of guys to ride trails with and top notch service every time. Cycling in Newark wouldn’t be what it is without these guys.
