We have purchased many rugs from Mike and Sam! They are extremely kind and knowledgeable and will go above and beyond to find what works for you and your home. They absolutely love what they do and it shows. Their customer service is the best you will find in Austin hands down.

Exceeded all my expectations, true craftsmanship! I have a 4 x 17 antique Heriz / Bakshaish runner that was in rough shape. It had been poorly repaired in the past and had cuts, unraveling, and overall damage. Mike was able to rebuild worn foundation, reinforce weak ends to prevent unraveling, and even did some hand-knotting to bring this rug back to life. His repair was a true work of art that took some time but sooo worth it! This piece now has many many more years!

Working with Mike and Sam was one of the best shopping experiences I have ever had. I walked in and they were immediately very warm and happy to help. They helped me look through dozens of large/heavy rugs, and I was so impressed by how they remembered details about each rug. You can tell they take great pride in what they do. I have had 3 heavily soiled rugs cleaned here, and each time Mike and Sam have done a wonderful job. They also made several expert repairs to portions of the fringe, resulting in a beautifully executed restoration. One of my rugs is Persian, one Romanian, and one American, so these guys know how to handle absolutely everything. They're all soft as butter under my feet, and unbelievably vibrant. Do not hesitate to trust Wooden Looms with all of your rug needs!

Incredibly happy with my rug repair! My puppy chewed up the side of my rug and I was looking for a shop that could do edge repair on a handwoven wool rug. I reached out to Wooden Looms by text and they replied extremely quickly and were even able to quote me over text. When I brought my rug in Mike and Sam were even able to give me a few different options for repair with quotes that were more budget friendly for me.
