Food is great poor service. Unfortunately I don't care how great your food is if your service isn't good i will not step foot in this place again. Maddie was very rude on the phone after we were missing things in are care out. We have been coming to woodchips for a very long time this is my last time! Thank you for being that bad apple!!!
Horrible customer service. EVERY time we order something it is messed up. We spend a minimum of $50 and eat there a LOT! . I explained on the phone that they mess up every time and to please make sure it is right. We get home after a 30 minute drive and our chicken sandwhich is DRY when we asked for sauce, the sweet potato fries come with sauce and I asked for extra and they came with NONE. Stopped in Lapeer for a drink and a bite to eat on way home from Up North. Didn’t know where to go but glad we found Woodchips BBQ! Food & drinks were awesome along with the friendly hospitality with staff behind the bar. Will definitely be back!
Had our first experience at Woodchips last night....highly RECOMMENDED!! Hit on all three areas that make it an excellent choice- service (Shawn sp?), atmosphere and taste! Some are probably wondering why I didn’t mention price...not cheap and not expensive and when you hit on the other three-not an issue in my eyes....an incredibly diverse menu with at least 5 choices in BBQ sauces so we just have to go back again (and again...)...we got some Witch’s Brew and Michigan Apple BBQ sauces to go....make sure you try one of the t... read more
Woodchips is our favorite place to get great food. They recently catered our wedding on June 27th. It was amazing and the service was fantastic! We highly recommend them for not only dinner but your catering need also!!

I have yet to have anything from here that I don’t like. Tonight I got the angry bird sandwich with Mac and cheese as my side but we pick this place for the sangrias
