While Dr Wood is a great physician, his retail eyeglass business is run by wolves and they are hungry. After 3 attempts and being unable to provide glasses I could wear, they refused to try to fix them or refund my money. My family of 4 has been a patient of Dr Wood for close to 20 years with yearly exams for all of us. They have now lost that business for ever. Shortsighted which is ironic for an eye doctor. Take your prescription business to people who care, because obviously they don't.
I would go there again It seems like every time I need to go to the eye doctor, I try someone new because I've never been too thrilled with any of them. But, when I tried Wood Eye Care this year, I really liked the location (convenient to my home) and the service. The prices seemed reasonable -- maybe higher than a visit to the Wal-mart eye doctor, but not as expensive as some other independent practitioners I've visited in the past (not that it mattered to me because my insurance paid for the visit).
