Really disappointed after having a more than likely unneeded biopsy after 3 weeks for an abnormal mammogram. 2 years ago it was benign surgical changes this year it’s architectural distortion because the radiologist failed to review the past mammogram or look at the medical history. 3 weeks of mental torture to be told it’s scar tissue and when the doctor went ahead and did the biopsy when he saw the previous scar.
Usually I have a good experience here, however, this is a good example of how a "mean girl" can change an already award, difficult experience such as a this procedure. The person who did my mammogram was named Heather and was dismissive and rude from the time she called me to come back. Being disabled already makes me feel vulnerable and then the procedure itself. I would recommend McKay-Dee hire more sensitive people to do this job.

After my doctors visit she told me that McKay would call and schedule an appointment. I waited four days and never heard anything. My daughter said they never call I would have to. I called four days in a row and never got an answer the phone rang forever but no option for leaving a message. I went online yesterday and filled out a schedule request and have not received an email or phone call. This is an urgent matter not the usual yearly mammogram. Now its the weekend. Unreal.
I've had nothing but great experience with the mammogram/radiology staff. Highly recommend!
