I absolutely love Women’s MD and Doctor Gooderham. She has been my doctor for about 12 years. Yes, she does encourage preventative approaches such as eating healthy, moving more and trying to stay at a healthy weight. But she also encourages looking into under lying causes through getting blood tests and scans and scopes and everything else. She has a wholistic approach to medicine and I am so grateful for it. Dismissive of health concerns which is hugely disappointing for a woman's clinic, and not at all what I was expecting.
Was referred to Dr. Gooderham for an IUD insertion. At first, she seemed like a compassionate, empathetic individual. She noticed my anxiety, and suggested her programs to me, and I considered exploring it because anxiety does suck and I want to be empowered. Then it comes time for the procedure, and as we all know, it’s not a comfortable one.
