My last visit was spur-of-the-moment (recommended by my dentist who I'd just seen) and I had limited time, so I was happy that I could be accommodated efficiently and with the usual care and consideration despite the time constraints.
Dr. Wolgin has earned the best doc in Philly year after year for a reason. This was my second root canal that the dentist I go to didn't want to touch with an 11 foot pole. Dr. Wolgin was confident and encouraging that it would not be a terrible experience like my dentist made it out to be. I would strongly recommend this office for all of your Endodontist needs and he was even able to refer me to another dentist that will hopefully not be so alarmed when I need more than a cavity. Thank you Doc!
The saying that root canals are painful must be outdated, because that was the fastest, easiest, and most pain-free dental procedure I've ever had-- and thanks to genetics, I've had a good share. The staff are welcoming and accommodating and devoted to making you feel comfortable. They even called next day to check to see how I'm feeling. The procedure took what seemed like 20 minutes and I kept waiting for pain that never came. I went into my root canal with some nervousness and apprehension. The team at Wolgin made the entire experience a pleasure. I never thought I would enjoy getting a root canal. The entire experience was painless during and after.

I have always been absolutely terrified of going to the dentist and have had issues with fainting in the chair in the past. This was to be my first root canal treatment (due to neglecting a cavity for several years and fearing to go back to my previous dentist to get it filled after a bad experience) and my first visit at this practice.
