Food has been good when we went. Tried to get info on phone, and the person who answered was incredibly rude. Terrible background noise, nearly impossible to hear.............very frustrating.
We felt so disrespected! I made reservations well in advance and Chef said he would make Beef Wellington for my wife's birthday dinner. The dish was completely ruined. Over cooked to the point of inedibility. Chef knew, and somehow he let it leave his kitchen. No apology from Chef, no explanation. He left it to his server to make apology. We were seated immediately, which is a nice change for a Friday night in fairbanks. Totally ignored for the first ten minutes. No water, no drink order. I had to ask for a glass of wine before we ordered. We ordered and were promised a "sampling" of the evening soup and some bread. Never arrived. Food was delicious but the service was weird. My husband and I ordered one appetizer and one entree to share and the waitress was like "just that? Are you okay with just water too?", making us feel like we were cheap. We just don't like to eat huge portions. After that we ordered dessert and coffee.
