69 degrees while eating. The food was basically cold when it came out. Pretty sure the cold atmosphere sapped all the heat off our plates before it got there. Been to Wolf Run 3 times. Once in summer, twice in winter. Cold food in winter everytime.
It was absolutely freezing in the restaurant. Our food came out cold and one meal didn’t come out at all. Thankfully our waitress was so nice and helpful but the food and atmosphere were not great.
Just went for dinner and was not terribly impressed...the $35 halibut was over cooked and very dry. Service was good but every time the front door opened a HUGE blast of cold air came thru the dining area downstairs. Really was not comfortable eating while being cold. Perhaps I will try again in the summer or after they get an arctic entry, too bad that wasn’t thought of in the remodel....
I asked about today's specials and was recommended Olimpia fish. it was delicious! Hummus starter also very good. Very good service. Really nice and warm place.
After being continually let down by other “nice” restaurants in Fairbanks it was a relief to find this place! Wonderful food, fast service, and a cozy atmosphere that’s not too rustic. Decent food tends to come at a high cost up here but these guys are in line for a decent date night budget ($130 for an appetizer, 2 entrees, 2 wines, coffee and tea and a dessert to share.)
