Read reviews stating that is was a factory, that the doctor sped through appointment. Our experience was anything but. Dr Wittels spent time analyzing, discussing and comforting my husband, giving us alternatives to immediate surgery. He was kind, caring, and most importantly my husband feels better. Thank you Dr. Wittels!!!!

Worst DoctorDr. Wittels ignored my 90 year old father for 48 hours and would have for longer if I did not have a fit at the nurse?s desk. My dad fell and suffered multiple fractures and after X-rays and scans was admitted to Mt. Sinai. All the time I was told that Dr. Wittels was going to review the results and get back to us. But he didn?t until I demanded to speak with him. I thought perhaps he would at lease see my dad and talk with us about what to do for him, but he never did. My dad has been in excruciating pain. I had emergency surgery on a Saturday morning and he was my surgeon. He came in prior to surgery explained everything clear and concise. All the while showing caring and compassion. The surgery results were better than expected and I would choose him fifteen years later. Run to see this great surgeon!

Office is very clean. Staff is very efficient on phone and at appointments. Surgeons are caring and respectful. I feel confident in this practice.

Worst doctor - he actually was only in my room for 30 seconds and had them take an xray. After the X-ray when he came back he told me to go to therapy and come back in a month. After a month the same thing happened in the room 30 seconds and walks out on me whule I am asking him a question, was told to continue therapy and see him in a month again.

It's rare to find a Doctor like Dr. Wittels; from the day I walked into his practice he has been nothing short of kindhearted, attentive and understanding. He is a doctor who genuinely cares about his patients. To add to that he is a Brilliant surgeon who's work is seamless. You can tell he also cares a lot about his staff-some have been working with him for 35+ years. Dr Wittels, took his time with me, LISTENED to me and he came up with a game plan for rehab before another Dr. that had jumped right into "need to operate". His office can be a bit full at times yet he is worth the wait, show up on time, emergency's do happen and he needs to take them.
