I wasted hours calling. They overcharge and refuse to answer their phones AVOID them
Funny how these reviews are 3.8 but when you go to other review sites, it's literally a 1. In all of my 44 years on this planet, Withlacoochee river is the absolute worse company I have ever seen. If I sneeze the wrong way, my power goes out! Paco area!

Continue to have terrible customer service, keep people on hold until after closing is ridiculous. I have been on the line over 45 minutes and am writing this review while I'm on hold. If the ceo of this company can get a 21 million dollar bonus then they can afford to pay people to answer a phone...
If you are buying or renting a house in their service area, find somewhere else. They make you jump through hoops to get service and charge through the roof security deposits. They promised to work with me during covid due to job loss and as soon as their public declaration of assistance was up they disconnected me the next day. In order to restore power they make you have all your breakers off which makes no sense since they were able to disconnect service without them off. More ways to mess with people. Seriously am upset about the lies and disrespect that I received from the customer service department about my usage! To much to go into detail but the woman taking calls is a master manipulater and should be removed from our elitric company she has no business working in customer service, will not take any responsibility that anything could possibly be a mistake... I'm in hernando County and am switching to solar because of her and unless she is taken out i suggest everyone else do the same!
Horrible customer service. They turned off my light damn near every month for amounts as low was 40 or 50$. Which is crazy because i have to pay a 65$ reconnection fee every time. And what makes it more of a low life move from this company, they are the fastest to turn your shit on and you pay them immediately and they take hours to turn they light back on. A disgusting example of lack of class shown by Michelle a manager at the Saint Antonio Office. I am bilingual and because I called the first time in English and the second time in Spanish, I was asked to show my ID in the office. If that isn't a classic example of racism. Not sure what is.
It’s ridiculous all the fees and charges. It does not make sense. You can use zero kw of energy and still get a bill. Straight up Fraud!!! I wish I could post a picture of my bill on here.
