About this business

A quintessential place for casual everyday comfort, with coffee bar, bakery, breakfast, lunch, dinner, frozen custard, beer, wine & weekend brunch. Like Tangletown Gardens' farming philosophy, we make our food as it was made long ago- when everyone ate organic, free range, locally grown food that wasn't fussy or high-end. It was just good food from scratch, every day. We bring guests back to this old standard of cooking using the season's best from our farm. Traditional grass fed burgers, hand cut fries, sandwiches, links, s... read more

expand menu just a little. poor breckfest choices. dump and replace the breckfest potatoes. thick bacon is good but that thick is a gimmick that I'm not impressed with. Try a little white bread, instead of the stuff you have. Eggs over medium came over hard. staff was nice and offered to do it over but the moment was lost. you CANNOT get an all American breckfest here. Wish them luck, I just was not impressed.

Great Food and Service! Not to mention the outdoor Ground Scaping on Eat Street!

Delicious healthy food. Waiter was friendly and attentive. Loved the atmosphere. Wish we had one in MA!

My meal was cold. I sent it back only to receive a slightly warmer replacement meal. I learned later that my wife’s meal was also cold (she didn’t want to make a fuss). The flavors are good and the ambiance is nice (apart from the steady line of airliners roaring overhead). Overall, Wise Acres is overpriced. I believe hot food, however flavorful, is a pretty basic expectation.

I ordered the same thing that I always order and the ham was WAY over-cooked (was like eating shoe leather)...the eggs had a gelatinous texture.. As a chef and having managed multiple restaurants, I understand that when it gets busy, things happen BUT the passive aggressive attitude of the manager or owner is the reason I will never ever eat at Wise Acre again. Truly offended and disappointed. They have no idea how many customers I have sent their way..but no more.

This restaurant is the bomb! Best food I've had in a long time. Not too complicated...new twist on some standard foods. Gorgeous produce and farm to table ingredients. I'm not a food snob...but, I think this place is perfect. I wish we lived in the neighborhood! I'd go more often.
