I have been a customer of Rural Insurance for almost 24 years and have had no major complaints until now. I had an accident 1/11/17 that was the other driver’s fault. The adjuster, Jay L. kept in good contact for the first two days after the accident, than he dropped off the planet. Put in a request for a simple GL policy and am still waiting 5 days later for a quote... Not like I need it to work anything. Called another company/agent and had one issued 1 hour later
When your insurance agent ensures you have the proper coverage for your protection. Then to find out during a loss, that you where very wrong to believe them.
Just a bunch of cry babies in management, Glad I retired , actually fired, but glad I am gone, district manger of mine was totally incompetent. Now I see you are trying to sue me for you say replacing your business, by the other comments not to many happy policyholders with this company. You people don't even have a clue who is after your policies, I sure don't want my business I wrote with you because it was bad business, good for you people.
Costumer for 19 years, not renewing my policy, because I have farm animals (16 chickens ) Doesn't make sense.

Had an accident at 10 PM where I was rear ended. Waited on hold for over an hour for a claims person only to be told that their system was down and I would have to call it in the morning! They outsource their 800 number to some place outside of Wisconsin. Total BS.
We were with another company for over 25 years and we moved to Rural Mutual Insurance a few years back and have been 100% happy with the company and our agent is the best for working for her clients-us!
