No security cams, had a Century mig welder stolen out of my garage. Also rent is too high for a 35 year old apartment. zThey are renovating but price goes up with any improvement.
RecommendedIt’s been almost 2 years we have been living here.we keep renewing our lease as not thinking to move out at all.The most convenient location for us.My husband reaches office in 6 mins,my kids go one of the best school just across the street and Hyvee 24*7.Staff is very friendly and never had issues with management.So much open space which we don’t find in other rental places,greenery and safe too.The best time is Summer.Kids play outside whole summer.Fortunately we got 2 patios.we feel like in our own home.Perfect place to l... read more
I've rented a lot of apartments in the area, but winwood has to be my favorite. The staff is quick to respond and very helpful and maintenance requests are done by the next day. The grounds are gorgeous with tons of access to trails! Very dog friendly!!
THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE. BEAUTIFUL, QUIET AND FRIENDLY. OFFICE STAFF IS SO HELPFUL. MAINTENANCE IS KNOWLEDGEABLE AND QUICK TO RESPOND. MY DAUGHTER LOVES IT HERE. NOT WORRIED ABOUT SAFETY. CAN WALK THE TRAIL AND WALK TO THE STORES. WE HAVE NEVER BEEN HAPPIER. I HAVE LIVED IN DES MOINES MY WHOLE LIFE AND THIS IS DEFINITELY THE BEST PLACE TO LIVE.
I have raised service request on Oct 3rd where is leakage of air in the master bed room. the people came and suggested for window replacement on Nov 14th and today they informed on Nov 15th they inform the new date when the window will be replaced Service request no:186715 Requested on Oct 3rd 2019
I've amazing experience since I moved to Windwood apartments in July 2019. Any maintenance issues I've needed are handled in a quickly manner and everyone in the office is very nice and easy to work with! They are renovating some of their old units. I love living here!
A fantastic place to live! Jackie, Stacey, Lindsey, and other staff members are so professional and friendly. They even remembered my name the first week I moved in. Maintenance is always great and timely when it comes to requests. They grounds are always kept up, and they always inform residents when stuff is being done to the properties.
