Saw Dr last Spring for what we suspected was trigger finger. Being a stubborn construction worker I kept putting it off, trying finger splints, massages, natural remedies all of which gave only temp relief. Got a cortisone shot (which we didn’t expect to last long). In December, I had surgery. Took about 2 full months to recover & regain strength but that’s because I waited so long to get it done. Dr knows what he’s doing! Doesn’t waste your time. Shared him with many. Office is amazing! Prompt
When I learned of Dr. Wintman's outstanding reputation and reviews, I decided he's the dr. I wanted to perform my carpal tunnel surgery on my right hand even though I live in upstate NY, 2 hours away. I had the surgery done on my left hand previously and hadn't been happy. I highly recommend Dr. Wintman, he has an excellent bedside manner, is patient and understanding and explains everything thoroughly. No need to fill the pain prescription. The office staff is friendly and courteous.

I met Dr. Wintman when I had a lump on my finger that kept growing. He told me what it was and that surgery was necessary to resolve the issue. He was efficent, knowledgeable, and had a good bedside manner/compasionate, and understanding/patient.
Excellent availability of appointments, and quick as possible scheduling of my surgery to avoid out of work time before my busy season arrived. So painless carpal tunnel repair that I did not even have to fill the prescription. Recovery time way ahead of anything I had heard from others and web searches.
Dr. Wintman is a fabulous physician. He explained my condition and all my options. My surgery went so smoothly and was exactly as he explained. It is almost completely healed without any scar visible. His care and compassion was excellent.
Dr. Wintman is patient, kind and very well qualified. He took the time necessary to help me understand what was happening with my hand and set me up for the best possible recovery.
Dr. Wintman is a phenomenal physician. He explains everything thoroughly and is very skilled. His office staff is superb. I highly recommend him. Unless you stare at the incision site, a scar is barely visible.
I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Wintman! I had an extremely bad case of dupuytren's contracture. My first appointment I was taken within minutes & received the same courtesy every appointment thereafter. Dr. Wintman explained my condition & gave me worse case scenario during surgery I might need a skin graph. Surgery day was a good experience, but long. He even called me at home day after to make sure I was OK. Hand is much better & I can shake hands again with no embarrassment due to position of finger!
