Dr Wintman is thorough,gentle and compassionate to your situation.He did an excellent job on my hand and wrist surgery.I’m healing fast and with minimal pain.
Dr. Wintman is an excellent physician. I suffered with tendinitis for 2 yrs, and tried everything, which he patiently allowed. I finally let him perform a surgical repair about 6 weeks ago. I wish I had done it sooner. Everything went just as he predicted. Recovery is going well, my hand is stronger everyday, and I'm out of pain. I think he's at the 'top of his game', which is confirmed by his reputation in the medical community and the patients I've spoken with in the waiting area.

Just had carpal tunnel surgery in June with Dr. Wintman. He explained everything about the condition,the procedure,the risks,and the benefits. He was very caring and compassionate and put all worries to rest. The ease with which I navigated all appointments in this office with all staff was very reassuring. I have already recommended Dr. Wintman to others and if I have any need for this type of service again I know where I'll be going.
Thought my shoulder was messed up it turned out to be carpal tunnel. So awesome to be feeling all my fingers again and the shoulder pain disappeared with the surgery too.
My trigger finger was recently repaired by Dr. Wintman. The treatment had involved shots which worked for a while but surgery was finally needed. The ease of scheduling, office staff excellence, Dr. Wintman's knowledge, thoroughness and skill has left me so thankful that I made the trip to Springfield to be seen for this issue.
Dr. Wintman just unlocked with surgery my 4th trigger finger, all of which were very successful. He was very professional & explained everything as he had in the past. His staff were very efficient. I would recommend Dr. Wintman to anyone needing any kind of hand surgery or procedure. He made me feel very comfortable.
Dr. Wintman initially removed a tumor from my wife's finger. Shortly thereafter, he treated me for Dupuytren's disease with Xiaflex injections, and the treatment was very successful. He fully explained the treatment options, including benefits and risks. Dr. Wintman is very personable, as is his staff. Overall, it was a good experience. Pain was minimal. Very likely to return; very likely to recommend to family and friends.
Dr. Wintman recently performed a biopsy/excision surgery on a large, delicate nodule on my finger on my dominant hand. The mass was attached to skin, tendons and nerves. I was told by others that it may not be operable at all - and Dr. Wintman removed the entire mass. It required many stitches and I was a bit nervous about how it would look, but it is healing incredibly well. I am so pleased with his work. He is a very talented surgeon. I would recommend him to anyone w/o hesitation.
