Dr Wintman has been my Hand Specialist for many issues. In my opinion he is highly skilled, thorough, informative and compassionate in all his interactions.....and a very likable person! His office staff is the same....I have always felt comfortable and well-attended.
Dr. Wintman explained everything about my condition ( carpal tunnel syndrome ) in detail and recommended further technical studies to determine the best treatment. After further evaluation we determined it would be best to proceed with surgery that would relieve pressure on the carpal tunnel. I cannot be happier with the outcome of the surgery. An excellent arm and shoulder specialist who saw me in the height of the COVID-19 crisis when other doctors weren't available. He diagnosed my condition quickly and accurately, through his knowledge and availability of on site x-rays. As a result of this visit he prescribed a cortisone shot to and exercise to treat a somewhat frozen shoulder suffered in a fall and further hampered by arthritis. I took my son to Dr. Whitman for a hand injury and was very pleased with the care he received. He is very easy to talk to and explains everything thoroughly making sure the patient understands all that was discussed before ending the appointment. After surgery, he spoke with with me and explained all that was done and sat with me until he was sure I had all the information I needed. His staff are extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend Dr. Whitman.
My son, who was 16 at the time, needed to see Dr. Wintman for a ganglion cyst on his wrist. My son rarely complains so when he said it hurt we listened and so didn’t Dr. Wintman. Dr. Wintman explained in detail what was needed and how they form. We decided do aspirate the cyst first (which was done right then and there because we wanted to get it over with and forego extra office visits) ... due to that not working like the Dr and my son liked we ended up deciding to schedule a surgery to remove the cyst. My surgeries for carpal tunnel were truly professional experiences. From the time of entry to the final release by Dr. Wintman my health was held at its highest priority. I would not or never hesitate to recommend Dr. Bruce Wintman!
I would not hesitate to recommend Dr. Wintman. I have so much respect and trust in him after having my right thumb reconstructed to rid it of osteoarthritis, I plan to go back in the fall to have my left hand operated on.
Dr. Wintman is very informative and compassionate. He teaches and shares his wealth of knowledge during appointments. His surgical skills are superior. Truly, they are a work of art. All staff from front desk to nurses and x-Ray technician are friendly and caring. My recovery was managed very well. Dr. Wintman returned all my calls in a timely manner. We need more physicians with his personality type, skill level and compassion.
AMAZING!! All above reviews are spot on. Brilliant hand Surgeon. Caring, proffesional, just plain nice! The office staff are proffesional and thorough. They answer all your questions and follow through when necessary. Would give this practice 10 stars if I could?
