We visited for the weekend and our boys playing in a golf tournament at Stony Creek. We had a great time - the lodge works really well for a 4 person family. The resort food could be improved, but overall, we love visiting.
Simply amazing place. Great trails; great views; great rooms.
Nice to get away from the grind for some quiet, but it's preseason.
Came up during hurricane Matthew to get away from the storm. Great staff, great amenities and I always have a relaxing time whether I am here to site see or get away from the rat race.
I went on September for a Spartan Race and it was a beautiful place, the nature was catch breathing

I think if wintergreen has anything to do with destroying a bear that's seems to be a problem. I say shame on you and I will never come back there again. This is a wild animal and has a right to be on this earth the same as us humans
Wintergreen employees are the rudest, have no customer service skills and do not have any job knowledge. Encountered this problem in the spa, the ticket counter, and equipment rental. You walk into the shops you are just looked at no one greets you. And it's sad that we have to leave the mountain and hear from the locals that this is a common complaint. Customer service is key! Our group was planning to come back next season but after the experience we have had we will be going to massanutten or another resort.
First time here.friendly staff.skiing .spa were great.definitely coming back :)
