Nice service in their rental area...it is a little chaotic, but they are very friendly! Good restaurant , The Edge, fast service but again very chaotic!
Great day spent 1/9/17 on the slopes with the kids since school was cancelled in our area due to snow/ice. Access roads to the Resort were all clear, lift lines were short until after lunch time and all staff we encountered (with the exception of the sleepy, grouchy ticket counter lady) were very friendly and courteous. One of our favorite places to go in the East/mid-Atlantic region!
#1 We arrive Saturday when it snowed and the roads were icy and NOT prepared. We drove 2 cars and although my husband's SUV was fine my minivan skidded out several times. I was terrified driving on the roads getting to the complex. Seriously. I was crying. And I'm really not a crier. Went straight into the building and chugged a Chardonnay I was so shaken. Been coming here for about 10 years. It's my stop on the way to Snowshoe from NC. Great for a day or two trip. We always stay off the mountain.
I came here with my husband for the first time and we were pleasantly surprised. Having just moved from the Pacific Northwest, my husband was worried that this mountain wouldn't compare. As far as course rigor, this mountain is definitely more mild, but the facilities and staff were terrific. The snow quality was great, even though it was man-made. Great place to spend a romantic or family-oriented weekend!
Absolutely phenomenal place! The cabin was excellent (took a while to get warm �) but it was gorgeous and the scenery was breathtaking ! The skiing was SO awesome, everyone was friendly!
We had a great time at Ridgely Fun Park on 12.31.16. 4 children ages 4 to 9 and all enjoyed it. Two kids from South Florida and saw their first snow. Awesome to watch them.
