This place is a disaster. Staff inadequate and triggering patients by not following instructions and causing retraumatization. They don't stick to the schedule either and don't follow notes. When they cause a crisis in a patient, they threaten with refusal of service and then call at home to say you can only have phone appointments. The doctor didn't even bother reading a 4 page report and just said "I know this"... which he didn't. Negligence and retraumatization is what you can experience here. My family doctor is Dr. Hardeel. My mom is a traveler in Canada and needs to see a doctor as a walk in patient. I was worried that it would be complicated and the process would be complex, but everything went smooth. I called in this morning and asked for information. The lady who answered the phone call was super friendly and patient(I forgot to ask her name). After we arrived, the receptionist Thruti was very helpful and welcoming. She provided exceptional customer service.
If health care support is lacking and the government is not doing a good job supporting doctors and specialists then this is something that healthcare workers need to take up with the government and politicians- write letters daily to your MP, call, lobby, do what it takes but don’t take it out on patients, on sick people. They are at the receiving end of the stick already and have to deal with their sickness and little to no support already in this culture.
