You must be patient with the number of beds available. There are often more chemo patients waiting on any given day than there are beds available on the 8th floor tower of Winship Cancer Insttitute. If you are a type a personality like I am, this often results in an increase in your blood pressure level and an extra day for discharge as chemo treatments will be delayed and they will not discharge you until your methotrexate level is less than or equal to .10.
They are all wonderful people they show kindness and great care for their patients
