Today I attended an after funeral reception at Crosswoods Winking Lizard. Everything was excellent and our service from Brian, Brandon and Lindsey (as well as the managers) was top of the line. I am also a Winking Lizard employee(Avon location) and the comfortable atmosphere they created made this fellow Lizard very proud. Thank you from my family and myself for all you did for us.
We were there twice this week. Even though it was the holidays and they were busy, the service was good and the food delicious. We go there a lot and will continue to go.
Great job by the staff at Crossroads (Columbus) getting everyone drinks and food for game 3 of the World Series!! Go Tribe!!!
Happy Indians fans, and Winking Lizard patrons, moved a paper Winking Lizard banner (the Lizard is wearing an Indians hat and the banner says "Welcome to Believeland") at the Galleria location 6' to the right during game one of the World Series to see the game on a TV at the restaurant. Local management moved it right back immediately, blocking the TVs. What is the harm in removing it during this rare appearance in the World Series? Put it back up after the game. We are in the Bedford Heights location often. Mandy, JoJo, Christine and Nancy have always taken great care of us. If they don't see us in a few weeks they want to know where we've been. Just what a neighborhood bar should be.
Last night my teen son, husband and I went to the Lizard on Polaris at Cleveland Ave., it was not busy but our waiter was tied up checking out a big table so our drink order was taken and maybe 5 mins till we ordered. It was late (8:10pm) when we arrived so we figured we could get in and out quickly. Our food took well over 30 mins, 2 small pizzas and 3 order wings (5 each). Went to this location on 9/16 to listen to Stone Pony. We got there at 5:15 walked past the patio and saw there were at least 4 tables open on the patio, where the band was playing. We went inside asked for a table outside was told there was a 45 minute wait for a table outside! Decided to sit in the bar. Sat at a table for 10 minutes NO ONE came to take our drink order or say anything to us. We felt invisible. Not many people in the bar. At least 5 servers walking around.
