The Lizard is a good place to eat if you want mass quantities of food. It's tasty and service is usually fast and friendly. My only gripe is the sizes of the servings. If four people order an appetizer its a meal unto itself for everyone. They need two sizes of servings of most menu items. Grande for most current servings and regular. Or lunch size. We eat at the Lizard often, enjoy the beer club and always have a good time. It's just too !such food unless you're a fullback.
Have been in Cleveland Ohio for 8 days. We have eaten at the 9th street location 5 times and ate at the Avon location today. We found that the food was great at both and the service great at both. Today we even met Joseph at the Avon location. He came to our table because our server had shared our telling her how many times we had eaten at the Winking Lizard on our visit to Cleveland for the Transamerica Transplant Games. I know I'm very hungry today .... but boy is this Winking Lizard food DELICIOUS! I couldn't eat it fast enough .... Super good! !
First time here. Had the Mardi Gras special. ..crab cakes. They were delicious. Up there with the best I've ever had. Best server ever.
The only Complaint is that they are to close to home
