I found out there were people getting their car windows broken into and items stolen while parked in the hotel parking lot. I was extremely worried and felt unsafe but tbe hotel wanted to do absolutely nothing about accommodating the situation and actually lied to me at one point. The room was wrong and the breakfast was disgusting. They served stale old pastries and bagels and only one of four juice dispensers worked. I would not recommend staying here.
We stayed here to attend an event at the Extreme Ice Center. Very close to the ice rink, rooms were clean, staff were great, and the rates were competitive. Complimentary breakfast included eggs, sausage, potatoes and the usual pastries and cereal options. A good value and the hotel had a decent small pool and exercise room. A solid choice for a budget stay in the area.
Place is great, Indoor pool open till 10 pm And great complimentary breakfast.
Had a wonderful time at the Wingate in Matthews. The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. We were in town for a wedding block and the location was convenient to I-485
The walls are paper thin. You can hear everything all night. We didn't get any sleep. Absolutely horrible.
