About this business

While there are plenty of wine bars for oenophiles, Wine Vault and Bistro takes wine appreciation to another level. This French bistro and bar is open for three-course set meals paired with appropriate wines only from Thursday to Saturday. The menu changes partially every week and entirely every month for such dinners. However, the highlight is the Winemakers Dinner held every Sunday, where each course in a seven-course meal is paired with the appropriate wine. Winemakers from famous wineries in Napa Valley, Sonoma Valley, V... read more

You don't need to be concerned about eating out and gaining weight if you go to the Wine Vault & Bistro. Even though it's a three-course dinner, the portions are well-balanced and the combination of ingredients healthly chosen. And you also get pairing wines with your food, a good buy, in a wood decorated dining room. Service could be warmer, giving us more time between courses. Good service should never be in a hurry, eager to have it done.

Unique experience, tucked away, someone has to tell you about it. For $45 , 3 course meal with wine pairings, 3 choices per course. I had skirt steak with chimichurri(sp?) sauce. Blue cheese with artisan bread and chili-infused fruit. (They have sweeter desserts also but this was DIVINE). Try it!

We had a party of 6 and opted for the 10 course tasting meal with wine pairings. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the wines and food courses were paired. An excellent balance of seafood, vegetable, and proteins to provide a wide variety of food tastings that all paired well with the red wines selected. It was definitely a great time and we will be doing it again in the future. Also, really great service with very competent and well-educated servers who could detail the individual components of each dish and the subtle ... read more

Setting is great, as is the concept. But we were disappointed in a few of the dishes. The meatballs were dry; the soup almost cool when it should be warm. The mains were mostly yummy.
