An excellent, hot meal when you really need one! The fried chicken is AWESOME!

I had a truck at the Fire Stone across the road and searched for non-chain restaurants in the area and stumbled upon Windsor Cafeteria. Great home cooking! Marcus, the owner, is hands-on in the operation and making sure things are done right. If you like good home cooking, seasoned just right, you won't be disappointed! I had liver & onions, cabbage, and okra & tomatoes. All were excellent!
Stopped next door to this place to grab a few tools... though I'd check it out that Meatloaf hit the spot without a doubt in my opinion best Mac and Cheese I've ever had... dude running the counter was real cool...
The chicken philly is amazing as well as the fried chicken!
The food is amazing, but that's not the problem. The last 3 times I tried to eat here they were closed before 6 pm. I realize that it's a small family business, but I can't get here until 5:30 pm on weekdays. I wasn't the only one- all three times I saw several other people walk up to the door as well. If the food wasn't so good, this would be a one star rating and I wouldn't come back.
